  Description

  I am 52 years old, living in a 90 sqm apartment near the city center in Budapest with my ex-boyfriend. I love to travel the world on a low budget, but unfortunately, I don't have the confident language skills for it.
  
  I would like to receive English, Italian, and Spanish language lessons.
  
  I would like to experience other cultures directly by living there, walking the streets, shopping at local farmers' markets, eating and cooking local foods, and meeting many kind people.
  
  I would like experiences and reports about the digital nomad lifestyle, about how we can become global citizens and world travelers on a low budget.
  I would like to gain experience in how to be digitally present in the world, how to build relationships online, and in the practical use of social media.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  The public transportation options are extremely good. Every point in the city can be easily and quickly reached, many of them even on foot. Three major train stations (two for trains, one for long-distance buses) can be reached in 20 minutes. You can explore all of Hungary!
  
  For about 15 euros, you can travel unlimitedly throughout Budapest on all public transport for two weeks!!!
  
  With the tram that starts in front of the house, you can easily and quickly reach almost all of Pest's landmarks; it stops in front of the Parliament and also in the absolute center, traveling along the banks of the Danube River, and all subway lines are easily accessible with it.
  
  Learn to cook some traditional Hungarian dishes!
  
  I'll teach you the wonderfully expressive, yet incredibly difficult Hungarian language! :)

  Help

  I expect 3-4 hours of work from employees on weekdays, but this should be done flexibly at mutually agreed times. If you plan a full-day program, no problem, we can catch up the next day.
  
  If you could help with the cultural exchange:
  If you are able to provide accommodation for me, or for me and my roommate in your own home or holiday home, I would be happy to host you in my home so that we can directly explore each other's culture, place of residence, and language! :)
  
  If you were to help me with language learning:
  I expect proper language lessons!!! It's not enough that you speak fluently and that we will just talk...))) You have to teach me words, grammar, and habits. I expect us to sit down in the living room and teach me, or go out together to see the city, go shopping, and actively teach using the situations. But I am flexible about this as well; you can also give online lessons even before your arrival! :)
  
  If you were to help with using social media:
  You need to actively help in learning how to use the features; it's not enough if you just show me yours and I only register ! :)

  Accommodation

  Our apartment and budget are modest, we cannot provide luxury, but we can offer a small private room and a shared kitchen, shared bathroom. You can get to know and explore Budapest in a spacious apartment just a five-minute walk from the Danube River. The public transportation options from here are excellent!
  
  Your own room will be 9 square meters, with access to a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, and a 35 square meter living room with Wi-Fi.
  You will get your own key, so you can come and go whenever you want. You can do the work for your own programs flexibly, as agreed.
  
  The fridge and the pantry are always full; you can consume as much as you want, cook for yourself, or we can cook together Hungarian dishes, or You can teach me how to cook the traditional dishes of your own country.
  
  We are meat-eaters!
  However, there are always plenty of ingredients available for your plain, simple meat-free vegetarian meals as well, so you will be able to manage it easily.
  But you need to take care of your special or radical dietary requirements yourself !!!
  
  In the private room, one person or a maximum of one couple can fit comfortably.
  Sorry, but we are not prepared to host children under 14.
  
  I use a vape in the apartment.
  Electronic and real cigarettes are also allowed, but only on the balcony!!!

  What else ...

  I have fast Wi-Fi, but sometimes it cuts out, and I can't change providers. The apartment is not suitable for working from here for several hours, I'm sorry!
  
  We hardly drink at all, we don’t do drugs, we don’t party with loud music, but we can show you those places where you can do it!!!!
  We prefer relaxation, laughter, conversation, good spirits, and a liberated, joyful, comfortable life.
