We always host two people at a time, this needs to be a couple who can share accommodation (we would also consider a family with young kids).

Work is four hours a day - gardening, caring for our native plantings, house painting, and general odd jobs. Meals are provided and we eat together in the evenings. You're welcome to take a turn cooking dinner for everyone if you feel like it.

After five working days, your last two are free. There's a pool and hot tub on the property, a waterfall walk in the Kaimais about 20 minutes away, and surf beaches at Waihi or Mount Maunganui about 30-40 minutes out. Tauranga is 25 minutes if you need a city fix.

    Non-smokers only, and no drugs.

We look forward to meeting you!

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

Sleeping situation is in our caravan (has one double and two short single beds, no toilet). It is not fancy but it is close to the house, is clean, watertight and warm, with heater, electricity outlets, wi-fi, kettle, and a small fridge.

If you are a family there is the possibility of using a small cottage instead, depending on whether it is rented out at the time.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Our property is on a country road, about 10 minutes' drive from Omokoroa which has cafes, supermarket, gym, bakery, pub, harbour swimming beach etc.
There are some beautiful walks in the Kaimai Ranges - eg Aongatete swimming hole, Sentinel Rock. Happy to show you some of the area here.
