Description
Laino Borgo and the surrounding areas (including Iannello, where our park is located) are completely safe and peaceful. We're used to sleeping with doors open and cars and vehicles unattended.
Naturally, any necessary tasks will be supported by a person who will ensure proper instruction and understanding.
For local car rides for various needs (shopping, bus trips, events, etc.), we guarantee the entire family's availability.
In your free time, you can enjoy extensive trekking in the Pollino National Park and visit various idyllic beaches (Arcomagno, Isola di Dino, Maratea, etc.).

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We are booth Uruguayan women leaving in an alternative village along the countryside of Uruguay. We traveled for years backpacking and biking around the world and now we are at home sharing life in family. We always lived in community and we like to share the daily life with people from other countries. In this neighborhood we leave there are people from all over the world.
We enjoy living in nature. Come to learn about gardening, building, growing food, herbs and more. Enjoy the wild land we got full of native forest, with river and creeks. Meet the wild life of Uruguay from the cow and horse to the native animals as carpinchos (capibara), big iguanas (lagartos), deers, armadillos (mulita y tatú), foxes, all kinds of birds, etc.

The General Maintenance of the farm includes: compost, weeding, cutting grass on trails and areas around the house, cleaning, etc.

Accommodation
We have tow working spots. In Emilia's place there is a tiny house to stay, with solar electricity, limited internet access, out door dry toilet, and out door / hot shower. Also camping possibilities.
In Mercedes's house we offer nice campground for camping (one of the missions is to close a room of the house for workawayers, but meanwhile camping), and in the house there is electricity, wifi, in door hot shower, in door dry toilet, etc.
What else ...
Our home is 20 minutes away from Rocha City, along the Rute 109 and 1 hour away from the beach (La Paloma). It is very easy to get here and hitch hiking works great.
We would love to receive good hearted people willing to help and being pro-active. Respectful with the nature around, the family vibe, the homes and with themselves.
