Laura stayed with us on three different occasions in 2018. We continually asked her to return because of her connection with our family. I can not say enough positive things about her work ethic, personality, care and creativity. Laura was continually going above and beyond and loved being around our kids. She fulfilled all of our expectations
… read more with household duties, with the kids, extra projections and anything else she saw that she could contribute. She is joy to be around and we hope that she returns to Canada in the future!

Claire, Dave, Samantha and Camille are such sweethearts!
They took me in in April for about two weeks and I came back in November for another three weeks. From the moment I arrived I was welcomed into the family. It feld more like I was part of the family instead of a worker. I mainly worked around the house and played with Sam and Millie. Claire
… read more took me to Victoria, their lake house and Nanaimo and showed me around the Island. Samantha and Camille are extremly friendly, sweet, polite and open to get to know new friends. I had a blast spending time with them! They are my two little sisters I never had. Claire and Dave are really easy going and always try to show you around and give you new and unique experiences. I would always come back to Claire and Daves house and they are always welcome in my home.
I want to thank Claire, Dave, Samantha and Camille for the great time they gave me and for opening their home to me, you will always have a place in my heart.
I highly recomment this workaway if you like small children, a loving family and different taskes.

Don't think twice about having Georgia come stay with you. She is the most polite, helpful and pleasant person you could imagine. We definitely were sad to see her go. We wish her the best in her travels and the best host families possible as she deserves it. Say Yes to Georgia!!!!

I stayed for a month with Claire, Dave, Sam and Millie this summer. They are so friendly and are just really great people, so it was easy to settle in and feel at home with them. I helped with odd jobs, like posting things to sell online, watering the plants, cooking, cleaning and helping with Sam and Millie a little bit as well. I got to stay

I stayed almost 3 month with Claire and Dave and the 2 little sweethearts Sam and Milly.
If my workaway experience would always be like this one I'd hardly go back home to Germany! ;)

Cobble hill is a beautiful area with lots to do in your free time and it also has a really warm community.

We stayed 3 weeks with Claire, Dave and their two little girls. They are an awesome, friendly and just lovely family. Claire and Dave are really easy going and we had a lot of fun with them. It felt more like living with good friends. Our duties were taking care of the garden, do some work in the household and cooking dinner. They are quite busy
… read more with their business so we supported them in their daily procedures. Some of our tasks were also at their fabulous lake house at lake Cowichan where we spent a lot of time is well. In the evening we had nice fires with them or/and their neighbors. Dave & Claire live in really nice neighborhood!
