Description
I am an English nurse, I have lived in south Normandy with my partner Ralph for five years, developing my gîte business and renovating my beautiful traditional French granite longere and large garden…
I am developing and evolving a gite business , however I do not need and I am not looking for any help or interaction with this business or with guests.
I have arthritis in my knee and a chronically injured ankle and I am looking for people who want to spend a few days helping with my own land/ garden..my own home ( housework and diy) and my animals….
In exchange I can offer a lovely large bedroom with newly renovated wet room..the use of a large fully equipped kitchen a very central location for Normandy attractions and a very tranquil and laid back environment
A car is essential here…this is rural Normandy with very limited public transport and all shops are too far to walk.
I do not provide meal’s ..I am only asking 2-3 hours help per day… ,however workers are welcome to use the large and well equipped kitchen in the house.

I live in rural south Normandy, I have a large small holding and a gîte business.
The village was originally built for the granite workers at the 50 plus granit quarries in the area… there is now only one viable quarry and a granite museum.
The location is ideal and central for all Normandy areas of interest including Mont Saint Michel , Bayeux and the historic Normandy beaches.

I welcome help maintaining my large and beautiful garden ( mainly weeding, cutting and edging the grass , walking my three dogs and caring for my chickens and cats.
Some decorating, home maintenance and diy may be requested occasionally.
