We are looking for volunteers who will support our efforts in fighting plastic pollution through creating awareness to the community on plastic pollution and what needs to be done. In Uganda here we are at the beginning point of fighting plastic pollution hence plastic wastes are almost everywhere which increase carbon in the atmosphere as a result of causing infertility in the soil. So, the majority of the population don't know what to do, and there are those who still think that plastic are 100% good implying that they lack information. Therefore, the volunteers will use their skills to train community members on plastic pollution, other alternatives we can use to replace plastic bags and bottles, and how to generally avoid/stop plastic pollution. Volunteers with skills in conducting community dialogues, facilitation and presentation, designing and interpreting IEC materials, collaboration with government officials.
