    Description

I own almond and olive gardens in the south of Turkey on a bay 200 metres away from Mediterranean Sea.Datça has the nearest bus station. Bodrum and Dalaman Airports are the nearest airports.

I also have an organic vegetable garden and use permaculture methods.
I am an artist mostly using photography and ceramics as my medium. I studied and lived in Germany for 17 years. I can speak english, german and turkish very well. In Germany I lived in a communal for 4 years. It was a wonderful time. I love to live, work and share together with other like minded people who love to live in nature and create. I live together with 4 cats. You can stay in my garden in one of my tents or with your own tent or trailer. We can cook and eat together, I love to cook vegan and vegetarian but I am not against fish or meat. If you like you can learn and try making ceramics in my atelier. I can offer you guidance in seeing the area with my 4x4 auto. Knidos antique city is just 6 km away and Karia trekking trail passes through the bay I am living in. I am a yoga and swimming instructor. If you like you can join me for yoga in the mornings before breakfast. I would be happy if you could help me with the gardening and other small garden work for 2-3 hours a day.

I can speak three languages fluently. I would love to teach some Turkish. You can learn the native plants here, pick them from the nature and learn to cook local Mediterranean dishes. I love all types of music and have some instruments. We can make music together. The region has historical sites which you can visit and learn from. You can learn and make traditional Turkish pottery in my atelier. I have a small library with turkish english and german books. I love to sit and tell stories around the fire place, make some music and dance. I travelled to India, lots of European Countries and America. I also travelled a lot in Turkey. It would be lovely to exchange experiences about travelling too.

  • Help

    Help

There are different tasks in different times of the year. In spring and autumn I prepare the vegetable garden and plant new vegetables. In autumn the olives are picked. In August Almonds are harvested. The garden and trees should be watered. The stone dry walls, fences and my trailer need some repairing sometimes. There is always some little digging and road maintaining tasks to do. I only have 1500m2 ground. So it is always a couple of hours help a day. Mostly less than that. I would like to share experiences with people who are handy, who understand from solar electric systems and permaculture. I can teach ceramics, photography, yoga and swimming.
