Description
Welcome to our Alpine Eco-Home!
Hello! We are a small, warm-hearted family living in the stunning Swiss Alps:
- Irene (38) trains future teachers.
- Ludovic (43) is a high school teacher.
- Our daughters, Amélie (9) and Flurina (5), are lively, curious, and love little adventures.
We’re passionate about sustainable living and have built our dream home: a modern passive house on a sunny hillside, using natural materials and ecological technologies. The house is complete, but we are still developing the surroundings and experimenting with different eco-friendly features.
What kind of help?
We’re looking for motivated, easygoing helpers who enjoy nature and a family atmosphere. Tasks are light and varied, and may include:
- Gardening, planting, and maintaining our outdoor space.
- Helping with simple DIY, tidying, and organizing projects around the house.
- Assisting with daily family life (meals, playing with the kids, keeping things cozy).
- Supporting us in small projects linked to our sustainable lifestyle.
Learning & Inspiration
While your help will be simple and hands-on, you’ll also get the chance to experience a home that integrates:
- Passive house design with large south-facing windows and earth walls.
- Solar thermal and photovoltaic systems.
- Rainwater collection and water-saving practices.
- Composting and ecological toilets.
- Aquaponics, rocket stove, and more.
Some systems are fully running, others are still in progress — so if you’re curious about green building and alternative living, this is a unique place to learn and exchange ideas.
What we offer
- A cozy private guest room with a double bed.
- Delicious meals shared together.
- Plenty of conversations, inspiration, and exchange.
- A peaceful environment surrounded by breathtaking mountain views.
We’d love to welcome you into our family life, share our eco-experiences, and learn from your journey too.
We look forward to hearing from you!Types of help and learning opportunities

We have chicken, just tell us with which kind of animal you would come with. We don't have that much space but in principle this is possible.
