    Description

My parter Sarah and I are both PEI locals. We have traveled a lot in the past, but have settled down for a bit. We have been working on fixing up a small home and embracing the country lifestyle, setting up gardens and a small orchard.

Mostly we now have some space to host and would love to meet some like minded travelers that are into growing food or folks interested that want to learn.

We can offer our 24 (mostly offgrid) Tinyhouse to a single person or couple. We are located centrally on PEI, close to Hunter River. Beaches are near by as well as Charlottown or Summerside.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Good experience to see if you like tiny house living. We can teach a bit about gardening and fruit growing.
Mostly we just have the empty space and wouldn't mind like minded people to share the space and to help with the garden.
We live about 15 minutes from the beach, about 20 minutes from Charlottetown so a car would be needed. Also welcome to cyclists.

    Help

My parter Sarah and I live on a little property out in he country. We have been trying to get more into food growing, gardening and cut flowers. We are looking for a bit of help weeding some gardens or cutting some grass. Potentially looking at help building a small greenhouse.

In the past we have both been a part of the couchsurfing and work away community. Now that we have a bit of space to host others, it would be nice to return the favour and also do a bit of a knowledge exchange - particularly in the small scale farming and permaculture world.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

24 ft tiny house one wheels in the back yard of property, mostly offgrid with basic composting toilet and solar shower (can potentially use facilities of our place next door)

There is also a little outdoor office space that can be used if working remotely.

Would be best for a single person or couple.
We can only provide a space, maybe some garden produce depending on the time of year.

We are about 15 minutes to north shore beaches and 20 minutes to Charlottetown. We we fairly rural with some forested trails nearby.

    PEI is a great
Place to visit in the summer! We are known for our seafood and sandy beaches. There are lots of little festivals happing all around the island :)
