Minimum stay 4 weeks, longterm stay is possible for up to 6 months.

We are a family of four: two adults, two kids (boys aged 12 and 15). Plus two cats and a dog.
... and plus you, while you stay with us!
Our schedule is busy ... another helping hand is always needed in our house!
We are not the average German family. We are a laid back religion-free Pastafari-Metal-Punk-Hippie-OffRoad family and we like it just that way!
Meeting people from all around the world is something we really enjoy. Since we can't travel as much as we would like, we like inviting a tiny bit of the world into our house. :-)
Since 2016 we have hosted 35 guests from half as many countries. Some have stayed longterm (~ 1 year). -

Help
During normal help days, between 8 and 3, we are mostly in school or at work.
We need general help in everyday life. Most important, laundry and cleaning! But also: Gardening, lawn mowing, cooking, playing soccer or hide-and-seek with the boys ... just be a part of the herd.

Your daily tasks:
- keep the kitchen clean and tidy
- spot clean where needed and tidy up a bit
- do laundry - wash, hang to dry, fold
Your weekly tasks:
- clean bathrooms and toilets
- wash floors
- help in the Garden
Sometimes:
- cook for all of us
You will need only 2-3 hours per day if you organize yourself well and work quickly. Double the time of you take things slowly. -

Bus stop in front of house. Commute to Cologne ca 50 minutes. To Bonn ca 70 minutes.
We are in the middle of beautiful nature here. Behind our house there are fields and horses and woods. You can borrow a bike, but there are many hills. In the summer we can go together to a lake for swimming. -

What a wonderful person. Smart, relaxed, intelligent, helpful ... does bake crazy cakes that look like a brick and give you a sugar shock. He is great with kids and cats. He was also a great help in our local shop. Definitely a superhero!
