Description
Hi, I live in a house just outside Oslo. I have two children 6 and 15 and a cat. I need not so very much help anymore as the children are in school, but since I am alone I d like there to be somebody else in the house also, just in case. My son 15 loves snowboarding and cars (he has a gocart project at the moment) and my little girl loves girlie stuff and dancing. We try to eat helthy food, my son is allergic to gluten so not always easy to find ways to feed him. My house is right on the water and we have a little boat, and we occasionally go fishing. If you like water activities like swimming, wind surfing or standup paddling it is a good place. I also have a car that I am generous with when I am not using it. The room I have to offer comes with its own bathroom and is connected to the house through the kitchen.
Types of help and learning opportunities
Creating/ Cooking family meals
Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
I must admit I am often quite tired by many obligations, so not always able to do sociable stuff. I hope the person who arrives can stay for a bit and is able to find their own friends and have their own life and agenda. I am by no means unsociable but from earlier experiences I know that people who have had their own agenda, purpose and friends have made the best match. I am very flexible and open minded, and you will have a lot of freedom at my place.

Help
What I need is some cooking and some driving the kids to activities (about 15 hours a week). I can be more precise, it is wednesdays during the afternoon/evening (5 hrs) and thursday morning (3 hrs) I need help basically. And occasionally during the weekends the kids stay with me. (up to 7 hours). It is important you are a good driver, for me as I can trust you with my kids, and for you as I will happily lend you my car.

We speak english and norwegian at home. My children go to international school. My mum is a retired school teacher and is happy to teach norwegian.Accommodation
Room with ensuite bathroom. Big windows. On the first floor. For food you will be able to take what is in my kitchen and fridge. I ll be happy also to buy for you also when I do groceries. When we cook (not every day) we will of course cook for everybody. And feel free to use my kitchen to cook for yourself.
What else ...
I really hope for people to stay for a while, I think with the right person it could work very well. I have been sort of debating whether I should just rent out the room, but since I need some help also I think this is better. I do not want anybody who smoke. None of us smoke in my house. Alcohol is fine, although we rarely drink ourselves. Oslo has a lot to offer, and it is not far away 30 min with bus.

I think this would work very well. Only please keep that wednesday afternoon/evening and thursday morning free.
Space for parking camper vans
I have used to have a campervan myself, and then I connected it via an electric cable to my house. Worked super smooth. And internet worked well too. And guests who stayed there came in to the house to use my bathroom facilities and kitchen etc. I do not think it will be so easy in the winter time though, unless you know you will be staying the whole winter. As I have a steep driveway, sometimes filled with snow. It could be hard to drive up, unless you use chains of course. But it could work, but you have to know you have good tyres and good driving skills and know your motorhomes limits.
Can possibly accept pets
I am fine with pets and we love animals. But keep in mind I do have a cat. A dog which runs after cats would be a bad idea. I would say we should discuss the animal in question before I decide it would be possible. But it absolutely could be possible.
