    Description

For 2019: We have one slot available in the period 15 August - 28 September.

We run a fishing camp in Northern Norway, located on the countryside of north of Tromsøy. The location is 3 hours by car from Tromsø, or 2 hours by speed ferry. The camp has been running for 8 years, and has a solid client base. Clients mostly come from Finland, Estonia, UK and Russia, but also other nationalities arrive from time to time. We provide accommodation, boats, guiding and equipment. In general, clients are passionate sports fishers, valuing the stay at the ocean and the hunt for the big fish. However, also family groups arrive occasionally. A group usually stay for a whole week.

The camp is owned by two persons: A marine scientist / professional fisherman and a tour guide / operator. This has proven to be a very successful combination, as we provide tourists with first class information and guiding.

A volunteer will interact and communicate on a daily basis with tourists, and the working language will be English. However, any other language skills are welcome. The location of the camp is at Arnøya Island in northern Norway. This is on the border to the Barents Sea / Arctic. The Island is very mountainous and picturesque, making is suitable for out door activities, hiking, bycycling and photo. It is surrounded by fjords and straits .

This is the land of the midnight sun, and the 24 hour sunlight will touch something deep inside of you.

This position is equally suited for girls or boys.

We are open from 1st of May till end of September.

Due to training, stays less than 4 weeks unfortunately we can not accommodate.

Important: This area is on the countryside and is a VERY QUIET community. We repeat: VERY QUIET. Guests are usually busy with their fishing during their week.
