Description
Hello! :)
We are a family of 4 (soon 5) humans and lots of dogs, a few cats and tons of wild animals living close by.
We are building a small farm with thoughts of green life and living. We want to be able to open the farm up for the public. "A place for all people, in all stages of life". In other words. We want to be an arena for people to get together, figure life out or just to seek happiness in daily life.
We have a big vegetable garden and want help with this as well. You may have your own patch to grow your own vegetables in, or we can start you off with a new patch. Make it your own, take pride in your projects and we'll have lots of learning and fun together.
No alcohol allowed on the property.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We are building something new in the rural district of Norway. We live in a small tight-knit community where you will experience Norwegian culture at its best. We also do lots of things "the old way", meaning you can learn traditional building and maintaince.
The polar dogs are used for mushing. Who has not heard of the famous norwegian Leonhard Seppala and the serum run after the Disney movie Togo. Mushing is an old Norwegian tradition that you can take part in.
We work close with the kommune and have accsess to a lot of cultural heritage. Some through a few nearby museums.
We live by the old Telemarks Kanal. Where boats are sluiced from sea level to 79 meters above the sea.
Lots of old Norwegian cultural to take in.Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
