  • Description

    Description

We are a small non-profit children’s home in southern Thailand that cares for disadvantaged children who have no other place to go.

Our project provides a safe, stable, and family-like environment for children who come from difficult backgrounds. Daily life here is simple and focused on care, respect, responsibility, and kindness.

We are not a business or an institution — we are a community-based home supported mainly by local people and individual help. Volunteers are welcome as part of a cultural exchange to share time, skills, and positive energy with the children.

  • Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Volunteers will experience everyday life in Thai children’s home and become part of a simple, community-based environment.

The cultural exchange happens naturally through sharing daily routines, meals, conversations, and time with the children and local people. Volunteers can learn about Thai culture, values, and family life, while also sharing their own culture, language, and perspectives with the children.

This is a calm and respectful place focused on kindness, responsibility, and mutual understanding rather than tourism or structured programs.

  • Help

    Help

We are looking for friendly, open-minded volunteers who would like to help with simple daily activities and spend time with the children.

    Typical help may include:

    * Helping keep the area clean and organized
    * Light DIY or small maintenance tasks
    * Gardening or helping with basic farm work
    * Teaching children basic English through games and conversation
    * Playing with children or helping with simple babysitting

All help is voluntary and flexible. We do not expect professional skills, positive attitude, patience, and kindness are more important than experience.

  • Languages

    Languages spoken
    Thai: Fluent
    English: Beginner

This host offers a language exchange
The main language exchange opportunity is helping the children practice basic English through games, conversation, and everyday activities. At the same time, we are always happy to learn from volunteers as well - whether it’s improving our own English or sharing simple language and cultural knowledge together.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

The accommodation is very simple and basic. At the moment, we offer two rooms, each suitable for two volunteers. Each room has a king-size bed.

The rooms are partly like living in a tree and partly outdoors - very close to nature. It is not luxury accommodation, but there is a roof over your head and a safe place to sleep. The bathroom and toilet are shared. This place is best suited for volunteers who are comfortable with simple living and enjoy a natural environment.

Volunteers will share simple, everyday meals together with the children and the hosts. Food is basic, home-cooked, and the same for everyone - we eat together as a community, but you can always go to other places around, there is also a 7/11 nearby.

From time to time we prepare special meals, and some of the older children enjoy helping in the kitchen and can even show volunteers how to cook using local Thai ingredients. When possible, we are happy to provide ingredients so volunteers can cook their own traditional dishes, share their food culture, or help prepare meals together with us. Shared cooking and meals are an nice part of the cultural exchange here.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

You can also find our non-profit organization also on Google Maps.

We are looking for volunteers who genuinely love children and truly want to help, even in small ways. This place is not about charity tourism or taking photos, it is about presence, care, and shared time.
The children here are very grateful for attention. They love to play, learn, talk, and simply feel safe with someone who cares. A smile, patience, a game, or kind words mean a lot to them and they often give that kindness back many times over.

If you come with an open heart and good intentions, you will be very welcome here.

Our place can be lively during the day, so it may sometimes be challenging to find complete silence and deep focus for remote work. However, there is a nearby café with very good coffee where it’s possible to work quietly and disconnect a bit from the surroundings when needed. From Monday to Friday, until 4 PM, children are in school, so it is also possible to work during this daytime.

We can accommodate 1–2 camper-vans on the property. If you have your own setup, we can also provide access to electricity. Please let us know in advance if you are traveling with a camper or motorhome.

Pets are very welcome here. We currently have five dogs and several cats living on the property, so other animals are generally not a problem. All animals are welcome as long as they are friendly and comfortable around other pets and children.
