    About Me

Hi! I’m Sam, a 26-year-old from Yala Province in southern Thailand. 🌿

I love meeting people from different cultures and learning from them. Before returning to Thailand, I spent time volunteering in France and lived in Germany for almost two years. Those experiences completely changed my perspective on life and inspired me to become a Workawayer—and now, a Workaway host.

I recently had to return to Thailand unexpectedly because of my father’s health. Since coming home, I’ve realized that our family house needs a lot of care and reorganization. Instead of doing everything alone, I’d love to share this journey with people from around the world.

I believe cultural exchange is one of the best ways to learn, grow, and create lifelong friendships.

    Cultural Exchange

Our home is located in Yala Province, one of Thailand’s beautiful southern provinces, where you’ll experience a side of Thailand that most tourists never get to see.

    You’ll have the opportunity to:

    * Experience authentic Thai and Muslim culture
    * Learn about local traditions and daily family life
    * Taste homemade southern Thai food
    * Visit local markets, villages, and beautiful natural places
    * Learn a few Thai or Malay words if you’re interested

We love sharing our culture and also learning about yours!

    Teaching Opportunity (Optional)

My mother is a primary school teacher. If you enjoy working with children and have some free time, you’re welcome to visit her school and help students practice conversational English.

This is completely optional, but many volunteers find it a rewarding cultural experience.
