    Hi, I am mangesh from ilam, nepal.I am a farmer at deumai municipality.The farm is situated in eastern nepal. i live with my family of 5 members. the village is located about 700km from kathmandu and about 1600 m of altitude.
    The popularity of ilam district and our farm is it's natural beauty, beautiful scenery and familiar behavior of people of this place previously, it is commonly known as mangalbare VDC but now it is known as deumai municipality. It is located in the Mechi Zone in eastern nepal.
    Regarding my family,my father and my mother are also farmers. I also have younger brother and sister. They are still studying.
    Almost all the families of my village are engaged in agriculture. They help in each other's work. They are living togather by exchanging ideas to modernise the agriculture and helping each other in difficulties.
    Our place is famous for potato farming,rice farming,zinger farming and many other. You can gain knowledge about agriculture and rural development by spending time with us. You can also visit tourism areas nearby our farm.
    As we have 3 cows ,goats,you can also learn more deeply about them.you can also visit farms nearby our farm to improve your knowledge in many other sectors. The life span of people is going in this way

    Volunteers will help mostly in animal care. They should help in cooking. They should share their knowledge,ideas,experience and many other with us. they willhelp us in gardening, plantation and farming in their capacity. They help us in cutting grass for cows and goats. They should help in farming potatoes, ginger etc

    Regarding the accommodation,you can get shared room for volunteers.you can get double bed rooms. They can give as comfort as in hotels. If you have any problems to share room with other volunteers then you can also get single room.
    Volunteers will have to use Nepalese style toilet rather than another one.

    the internet connection in our farm is currently unavailable but volunteers can use Mobile data for internet connection currently, and in future we will install WIFI connection for better internet speed.
    You can experience tradition food items here. You can also share your experience on cooking.

    What else ...

    You can visit different places nearby farm commonly known as panitar(tea garden), gufa thumki(lake with beautiful scenes).you can observe sunrise from gufa thumki and Ajambare . The farm member can guide you to visit different places.
    You can visit most beautiful places and learn more about nature.
    Regarding transportation you can get vehicle to travel around but in some places you can also have to walk. In your time off you can visit those places by taking support of farm member.
