Description
Welcome to our page, we run an off the grid and entirely self-sufficient homestead nestled on a mountain in Spain. It is beautiful here, with no light or air pollution you can experience the peace of the mountain and enjoy the starry night sky. We have our own water supply, solar power and bio waste system, if you want to learn more about off the grid living then this is the place for you.
We are remote off the grid mountain living and therefore we ask that volunteers are interested in simple living.
Living on the mountain requires team-work and collaboration. Volunteers must be able to support one and another and work well together to create a happy and simple mountain home.
You don't need previous experience, although, living off the grid on a mountain requires a certain amount of physical work.
There is very good mobile coverage but we do not have wifi

• Volunteers need to be able to commit a minimum of 4 weeks
• We work five hours a day, five days a week and yummy vege food

You will have the chance to learn all aspects of off-grid living and sustainability.. You also have access to yoga classes.
Help
• We always point out to prospective volunteers that there is heavy lift involved (eg 25 Kilo gas bts).
• We operate on Spanish times for meals and working, we also like to have a flexible approach to the day sometimes the day changed due to the weather for example and we ask that volunteers are easy going and adaptable.
• We would not ask more than 5 hours a day, working around the weather to do mixed mornings and evenings.

• We offer accommodation: in a shared caravan with shared kitchen and bathroom.
• We also have an amazing mountain pool to chill around.
• Good food and great company in return for 5 hours help a day.
What else ...
It is great place for hiking, the beach is only a 40 min bus ride away or you can just chill out under a lemon tree by the pool. If you want to experience real Spain off grid and disconnect this is the place for you.
