Staying and working here will teach you a great deal about animals and nature. Taking care of more than 100 Alaskan huskies is no easy task, you will learn a whole lot about body language, patience and communication. Watering, feeding and training the dogs will challenge you both physically and mentally as it takes place outside in all sorts of weather conditions. Dog sledding in the winter season can be challenging with temperatures below -25 celcius. You will learn survival techniques and first aid in arctic conditions.
From past experience we see that the biggest benefit for people working here is challenging them selves and their comfort zone in a new way.
