    Description

    Our Nature resort is located close to the Wilpattu National Park in Sri Lanka, which is the largest national park in Sri Lanka. Within the resort and in the surrounding are thier is a rich bio diversity. Within the resort it self we conduct nature tours to our guests so they are able to see the rare wild cats species such as ringtail cats, rustic spotted cats and civets. Our main highlight is the grey slender loris which can be seen within the resort premises. Most importantly, bird watching is also promoted to guests in the neighbouring lagoon which is 10 mins walking distance from the resort. The mangroove reservartion which is in the lagoon showcases multiple bird species.

    Also we are commited to sustainable toursim by wokring with village communities such as farmers and fisherman. We also provide job opportunitites to local villagers in order to get the local communities involved and also elp them improve thier lives. At the moment, we have close to 30 staff members from expereinced chefs, house keepers to managers. The resort is a family owned business. And as an organization we now expanding our reach with two more locations.

    Workawayers will have the chance to connect deeply with the local way of life and also have the opporutnity to experience nature and wildlife first hand. The local communities around the area are fishing and farming communities, interact with villagers and learn about thier traditions and way of life. Our staff is also a mix of Experienced Sri Lankan hoteliers and local villagers. You will get to work and learn thier way of life and make life long friends.

    Also you can explore the area's rich cultural heritage, which includes local religous practices. A church, a temple and a kovil is located close to the resort where you can go explore and learn about Sri Lankan spritual Life.

    We are looking for individuals from Europe who are writers, bloggers, naturalists, wildlife photographers or researchers, who conduct their work in the field of Nature, wildlife, tourism and related fields. Applicants must have prior experience in their relevant field and we prefer individuals who already have conducted reputed work in their relevat field.

    We provide accomodation, food which is prepared by our in-house chefs and also support from our in house naturalist for your work. Also you will get the opprtunity to experiene our excursions such as the Wilpattu Safari, Lagoon boat rides for bird watching and nature walks for free.
