    Description

We are a French/Irish family living in the country side of beautiful west cork, 2km from Ballydehob village with its great pubs, music, festivals and creative community and 5km from the sea with beaches and islands to explore . We are looking for help in the garden and kitchen, ideally a couple. We both love crafts, like woodwork and pottery so if you have any experience with these…who knows what we might do together 😉!!
You’ll have your own independent space in our caravan , we have bicycles you can borrow and possibly our kayaks if experienced too. We have busy lives so sometimes you will be on your own and sometimes with us and you’ll have plenty of free time to go exploring . This is our first time hosting workaways but years ago we had woofers stay and we really enjoyed the cultural exchange.

There are local bus routes leaving the village every day , which is just half an hour walk or a 10 minute cycle ! There are ferries out to some of the islands from nearby villages and there are beautiful hills and landscapes all around the West Cork area . And there is nearly always some good music happening 😊
