Hi I'm Valentina, a 40 years old Neapolitan woman :-)

I studied psychology in Florence (Italy) where I also worked as promoter of cultural events for a local advertising company. After finishing my studies I moved to South America, where I worked for different NGO as psychologist and social worker.

In 2010 I moved to ireland where I spent 7 years. I first worked at a project about self sufficiency, I learnt about organic gardening, traditional and ecological building, carpentry, stone wall building, thatching, poultry, learning Do-It-Yourself (DIY) skills, fishing, magazine and book publication, web site creation and maintenance, learning cooking and food preservation skills, hospitality to guests and visitors.

In Ireland I also studied complementary therapies, like Swedish massage, Thai massage, reflexology and sport and deep tissue massage, and I worked at an health and herbs clinic and shop, blending and dispensing herbal remedies.

I bought myvpiece of land in Portugal 2 years ago after travelling and volunteering as workawayer for a year. I renovated a good portion of the buildings and I now run a small, ecofriendly bnb for travellers and tourists.
It's a little paradise, surrounded by nature and only 10 minutes driving to the beach. There is a pond on the property and a small stream too. There are over 6000 m2 of land with fruits trees, sheep and bees. I also have 5 free range chickens and 2 sweet dogs.

I have a few projects to work on this autumn and winter:
I intend to completely reorganize the vegetable garden, rellligning the irrigation system and replanting everything.
I want to build a big pergola with wooden table and benches, to enjoy some shade in the garden.
I would also like to create a space for workshops, for practicing massage, yoga, for playing....
The forest needs some attention, trees needs pruning and the wood needs to be chopped and stored.
There is one last little house in need of renovation work, I have a plan to turn it into a little apartment, with ground floor, kitchen, bathroom and mezzanine.
