  • Description

We have a family-run Bed and Breakfast in the fishing port of Killybegs, Co.Donegal for over 20 years and are situated in the picturesque town overlooking the harbour and boats. It is a lovely area with lots of culture and social things to do and see.

We enjoy taking care of our guests at our B&B and preparing home cooked breakfasts. We meet people from all over the world so it is a good opportunity to learn English and meet people from other countries too. We are looking for a happy person who likes people and will help with cooking and serving breakfast, preparing rooms and cleaning.

We share our experiences and space with guests so it is a great experience for anyone to get to know this way of life.
My husband is from the Aran Islands, Co. Galway and he also speaks the Gaelic (Irish language) and he can teach a few words.

You would experience a family atmosphere while in a lovely area with many attractions to see. We will recommend the places to visit, the blue flag beach and the famous Sliabh Liag sea cliffs, the highest accessible in Europe.
There is a good bus service to visit many places for your two days off each week.
There is a shared bedroom accommodation for girl helpers only and meals are included.

We had a helper previously that stayed 3 months at our Bed and Breakfast and her college accepted the learning experience here as a reference. We can help also with internships for learning English and one helper at the end created a brochure for us in English for her marketing studies.

We would like you to stay at least 4 weeks minimum if possible please.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.
    Thank you.

    Best wishes

    What else ...

Killybegs is a lovely fishing port in Co. Donegal, Ireland, which was recently voted by 'National Geographic Traveller' as the it's 'Cool List' in the world to visit in 2017. Situated along 'The Wild Atlantic Way' Ireland's 2,500 km long West coastal route. The fishing port is the largest in Ireland with a large fishing fleet, a new marina and nice variety of cafes. Cruise ships also arrive in the summertime, which is very good for the town. The famous Sliabh Liag cliffs are the highest accessible sea cliffs in Europe, just 45 minutes drive along an unspoiled coastline. There is public transport to other towns and attractions to visit on days off.
We will make you feel welcome to our home and town.
    Thank you
    Patricia and Gerry.
