    Description

Eco-Resort. Farm School. Permaculture Development Site

We are a ten-hectare, beach side property, that is developed using regenerative and sustainable principles of permaculture. Guests can experience comforts offered by modern facilities while being close to nature and learning about eco-friendly systems and practices that are being implemented within the property.

As an Organic, integrated, and diversified farm, guests can immerse themselves in different farm activities such as, gardening, vegetable picking, animal interactions, and many more. This is aimed to have our guests experience the beauty of reconnecting with nature, the soil, and our source of food.

As a Farm School, we aim to educate farmers and the younger generation, to transition into regenerative agriculture and elevate its value as a profession. Students can learn about Permaculture Design Principles, a holistic systems design philosophy, that aims to promote biodiversity and flourishing ecosystems, while maintaining an abundant yield to sustain the livelihood of communities. Students can also learn technical skills such as compost making, organic concoction production, caring for small ruminants, organic feed production, and many more.

Guests and students can also visit Fasadanan Mangyan tribal communities and SHEG community gardens, located all over the town of Gloria and are established and act as extensions of our place. All of these interconnected organizations and activities share the same principles: Care for Earth, Care for People, and Fair Share.

  • Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We embrace the holistic development approach of permaculture. Taking into consideration, the environment, social and cultural norms, and even the consciousness of an individual within the community, our volunteers can expect the same holistic learning experience. The island of Mindoro is also host to the indigenous tribes of the Mangyan, whose knowledge and culture is also being integrated into the community.

  • Help

    Help

Help is needed in a number of ways within the farm and the community around it. Depending on the project being developed and the skills that volunteers have to offer; site planning, farm work, community event organization, product development (fruit jams, oils, soaps, other value added products), art installations, and many more are being implemented. We also encourage and support volunteers to come up with their own projects that can help the community as a whole.
