Located at the island of Mindoro, Philippines, the heart of biodiversity in the country. This is a 12 hectare, beachside property, being developed as a Permaculture site and Learning center. Although the project is at a very young stage, we are making great strides in transitioning into an Organic, Diversified, and Integrated Farm.
Volunteers can expect to have close interactions with the community and learn different aspects of permaculture; from the practical knowledge to the social and cultural efforts needed to make the project successful.

We embrace the holistic development approach of permaculture. Taking into consideration, the environment, social and cultural norms, and even the consciousness of an individual within the community, our volunteers can expect the same holistic learning experience. The island of Mindoro is also host to the indigenous tribes of the Mangyan, whose knowledge and culture is also being integrated into the community.
Help is needed in a number of ways within the farm and the community around it. Depending on the project being developed and the skills that volunteers have to offer; site planning, farm work, community event organization, product development (fruit jams, oils, soaps, other value added products), art installations, and many more are being implemented. We also encourage and support volunteers to come up with their own projects that can help the community as a whole.

There are several types of accommodation within the farm, depending on the availability, volunteers can stay in a private hut, room, dorm, or shared with a fellow volunteer. Common areas that are shared within the community include; kitchen, bar, dining area, and lounge area.
The farm is located right in front of a beach and is surrounded by a fishing community. There is also a marine sanctuary nearby that is perfect for snorkeling and freediving. We also arrange weekend excursions to a nearby waterfall and tribal villages.
