    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We embrace the holistic development approach of permaculture. Taking into consideration, the environment, social and cultural norms, and even the consciousness of an individual within the community, our volunteers can expect the same holistic learning experience. The island of Mindoro is also host to the indigenous tribes of the Mangyan, whose knowledge and culture is also being integrated into the community.

  • Help

    Help

Help is needed in a number of ways within the farm and the community around it. Depending on the project being developed and the skills that Workawayers have to offer; site planning, farm work, community event organization, product development, art installations, staff training, community engagement and many more are being implemented. We also encourage and support Workawayers to come up with their own projects that can help the community as a whole.
