My doors will be open for two weeks for the annual olive harvest and more! This years harvest looks good despite the summer drought. Incase there isn't enough olive harvesting work, there will be other work in the adjacent field, planting and protecting trees, and doing earth-works!
I'm studying in The Netherlands, but have several weeks off to host workawayers in central Italy!
I've been learning with my family from the land, and working to create richer more resilient valley where nature can take root and prosper.
Learn practical experience harvesting olives and taking them to the press, gain knowledge in restoration ecology, making fires, and making delicious food! Learn about soil, compost, biomasssss and flowwww.
On rainy days there are also projects in the house, for painting, and other creative projects such as carpentry, land art, recycling, and more!!

Help
If you enjoy beautiful views, nearby hiking trails, and working with the land, you will enjoy it here. We have an olive grove, fruit orchard, hazelnuts, and a wild area we call the enchanted forest! If you have experience with gardening or pruning, we'd love your input. Anything permaculture-esc, I would love to incorporate your ideas into the land. As I am just starting, organisation may be a bit haphazard, but its all part of the process. I want to help you help me help you. I plan to plant many trees in the area to mitigate the effects of summer drought. I will need help with pruning, planting, digging swales, and baking biochar and anything else!

We are in the process of renovating a nearby house. In the early stages, the room in which the guests would stay would be on the bottom floor of where we live, but later on, guests could be hosted in the nearby house. There is hot water with pressure, and the house is insulated. Wifi in most rooms, a bed, indoor and large outdoor area.
What else ...
on the property itself, we have a lot of boardgames, books, art supplies, and some cool gadgets. In Viterbo there is a lot to do, and see, which is only a bus or taxi ride away, the town has events, markets, tourists, and historical sights, (some Catch 22 scenes were filmed there) as well as an international community.
