    Hello friends! We offer cultural experiences in the Amazon rainforest of Ecuador and a glimpse into the Kichwa culture. We are a Kichwa family experiencing a period of cultural change who would like to maintain our traditions and protect nature. We would like to start a tourism project and need help with the preparation. We are also interested in learning other languages (English and French). It is also possible to participate and learn about our daily lives.

    Hola amigos! Aquí les ofrecemos experiencias culturales, en la selva Amazónica de Ecuador y conocer la cultura Kichwa.
    Somos una familia kichwa en el tiempo de los cambios cultural, que gustaría mantener sus tradiciones y cuidar la naturaleza.
    Queremos empezar un proyecto turístico, y necesitamos ayuda con la preparación.
    También nos interesa aprender otros idiomas (ingles / francés)

    - There are several exchange opportunities we have here.
    - We are looking for people to help us prepare the tourism project. This will help with the building DIY of another cabin with natural materials from the area. We will also improve the space by planting medicinal plants, among other things, and create trails and signage for the viewpoints. (People with experience in construction or gardening are welcome; but it is not mandatory.)
    - It is also possible to gain experience working in the garden and learn how to grow produce (such as plantains, yucca, jibara potatoes, sugarcane, and fruits) in a natural and traditional way.
    - Teaching English and French to our family in exchange for Kichwa.
    - Helping to publicize our project online, on social media, etc. Through the exchange, we offer lodging and typical local food for 5 hours a day/5 days a week.

    -Hay varias oportunidades de intercambio que tenemos aquí.
    - Buscamos gente que nos ayuden en la preparación del proyecto turístico, eso ayuda con la remodelación y construcción de otra cabaña con materiales naturales del área también mejorar el espacio sembrando plantas medicinales entre otros, también creando senderos y señaléticas para los miradores.
    (Bienvenidos sean gente que tienen experiencia en construcción o jardinería, no es obligatorio)
    - También es posible tener experiencia de trabajo en la huerta y aprender a como cultivar lo productos (como el plátano, yuca, papa jibara, caña, frutas) de manera natural y tradicional.
    - Enseñando ingles/francés a nuestra familia... en intercambio por el kichwa.
    - Ayuda a publicar nuestro proyecto por internet, redes sociales, etc. por intercambio frecemos alojamiento y comida típica de la zona por 5 horas al día/5 día a la semana.

    Volunteers stay in a large shared dormitory-style cabin with single beds. The cabin is located 300 meters from our house. The shower and bathroom are located next to the dormitory. There is also a kitchen available for use where they can cook food over the fire.

    Los voluntariados se hospedan en una cabaña grande compartida en el estilo dormitorio con camas individuales.
    La cabaña se encuentra a una distancia de 300 mtrs de nuestra casa.
    La ducha y el baño se encuentra a lado del dormitorio.
    También hay una cocina que pueden utilizar donde pueden cocinar alimentos en el fuego.

    We are located 2.5 hours east of the city of Puyo, via Villano, in the Yana Puma sector. To get there, you can take a bus from Puyo in front of the Mariscal market. We are located near the road. We have electricity and Wi-Fi in our house (there is no Wi-Fi or electricity in the bedroom).
    We offer three typical meals a day (one full and two medium) (local fish, free-range chicken, plantains, yucca, among others). We also offer meatless options. If anyone wants special items, they should bring them from the city because there are no stores here.
    It is a safe and peaceful place.
    It is a natural environment with a variety of insects.
    If you wish, bring repellent.
    If you can, bring boots and clothing for working in the fields.
    It would be good to have a communicative level of Spanish because we only speak Spanish here. We also respond to messages in Spanish. Thank you.
    It is also possible to camp here if you bring your own tent or hammock.

    Estamos ubicados a 2:30 horas de la ciudad del Puyo hacia el este, vía Villano sector Yana Puma para llegar se puede tomar un bus desde Puyo frente al mercado mariscal, estamos ubicados cerca a la vía, tenemos energía eléctrica y conexión de wifi en nuestra casa. (en el dormitorio no hay wifi ni electricidad).
    Ofrecemos tres comidas típicas al día (una completa y dos medianas), (pescado de la zona, pollo de campo, plátano, yuca entre otros) también alimentos sin carne y si alguien quiere comidas en especial deberán traer comprando de la ciudad porque aquí no hay tiendas.
    Es un lugar seguro y tranquilo.
    Es un lugar natural, con variedades de insectos, si desean traer repelente.
    Si pueden, traer botas y ropa para trabajar en el campo.
    Seria bueno tener un nivel de Espanol comunicativo porque aqui solo hablamos español.También respondemos los mensajes en español.Gracias.
    Tambien es posible acampar aqui si traen su carpa o hamaca.
