We sometimes get Kangaroos in our front yard, so you could tick that off your bucket list!
Also I'm a keen permaculturist and trying to embody all the principals in my daily life so we could hopefully learn a bit off each other.

  • Help

We would request 2 hours a day of work in the yard. But you could struture this however you wanted, so you could just do 2 five hour days a week if you wanted. No childcare or household duties expected of you.

We need help builidding garden beds, swales, water features, gates, chicken coop, givaway surplus stall, laundry greywater system. If you have prior experience building any of these that would be great, but if not, I think we can muddle through!

In our suburban house there is a nice spare bedroom with ensuite that is availble for somone to stay in. It has a queen bed and all bedding is provided. We would love it if you joined us for dinner as a family meal (we are omnivores) but also feel free to use the kitchen and sort yourself out. Anyone is welcome, singles, couples - anyone who is happy to share a queen bed. LGBTIQ friendly.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Canberra is Australia's National Capital. It has heaps to do, and heaps of free stuff to do!
Although it is the capital of Australia it is pretty much a big country town. It has all the amenities of a western city but is spread out and a bit sleepy. It has heaps of nice hikes, bushwalks and museums. Check out the visitors guide to get an idea -

***Note - We live in the suburbs so it is a 20min drive to the center of the city but the busses are pretty good.
