    Description

My wife Romany and I (Duncan) live in a homestead on 16 acres about 2 hours from Melbourne, 30 minutes from Ballarat and 20 minutes from Daylesford. We recently renovated the home, which has magnificent views and is situated on the side of an old volcano. We have big plans to create a beautiful garden and would appreciate help building a veggie garden, watering and generally helping us take care of this special place. We have pet cows and sheep that do a wonderful job of keeping the grass down in their paddocks. The property also has many rocks that could also be put to use in the building some dry stone walls if anyone has the skills and is keen to give it a try!

Homestay visitors will have the opportunity to experience life on a property that is surrounded by cattle, sheep and canola farms as well as only being a short distance to both big and small country towns and historic goldmine areas. In addition, Daylesford is a lovely regional town with natural spas, great local produce, cafes, restaurants and a great arts and music scene.
