Hi All, ready for a real experience?
We invite you to join us (Jacqueline and Alwart) to grow our permaculture farm in the jungle in Nayarit, Mexico.
We have the passion of becoming fully selfsustainable, and one of our passions is to share the knowledge we have gathered with people interested in the same topic.
At our project "Hoja de Pluma" we have a few chickens for egg production, we have a pond with tilapia fish that we use for our own consumption at the farm, we have more that 30 varieties of fruit trees (some of them are still growing...few years will go until the start fruiting), and we are now working in growing mushrooms, we are stablishing vermicomposting systems as well as some small scale aquaponics. There is always something fun to work with, combined with other things not as fun like turning the compost or making new piles. To SEE this you can look for us in social media.
We look for people with energy to work and to ask questions, as what we want is that this experience can bring you closer to your nature. We also require people who can live in community and can clean after themselves. You will be asked to help the equivalent of maximum 25 hours per week.
From San Ignacio you can move to San Pancho, Sayulita, Punta de Mita or Puerto Vallarta.
Minimum stay is of at least one month (30 days). The minimum stay is for you to be able to be involved in a project and hopefully get to see it from start to finish. It also helps us to program a better agenda as we know we can count on you for a longer period of time.
Shorter stays are accepted under request but will have a cost of $500 pesos (aprox 29 usd) per week per person. Please have that in mind when you make your request.
If you have any other questions let us know.
