Description
Hi there!
we’re Birgit and Gal, and we’ve been living on the sunny island of Corfu for 1.5 years.
Together with our three dogs, we’ve settled in a large land (13,000 Sqm) in nature, surrounded by 200 olive trees, in the peaceful northern part of the island, where we have big plans to build a unique, eco-friendly farm, and we’re looking for people who want to join us and get their hands-on!
As for the help - there is a lot to do, so you really don't need to be an expert in any specific field, and anyway- we believe in "learning while doing"...
Arillas, the village just next to our ground, offers stunning nature, a beautiful beach, and mild winters. If you’re up for an adventure and want to help us create something special in this beautiful environment, we’d love to have you on board!Types of help and learning opportunities

We are coming from different countries (Birgit from Austria and Gal from Israel), and we both also travelled a lot around the world -so whether it's the language, the food or just the daily habits - we bring different cultures, and are always open and love to learn about new cultures too!
Help
Our adventure, is a huge land, waiting to be transformed into paradise – and we need your help to make it happen!
Our place, the project, and all the work involved - are entirely private and not associated with any kind of business activity.
There are all sorts of projects around here and the tasks vary, offering different types of activities and skill levels :
We're converting old trailers into unique, livable "circus wagons" full of character and individuality.
We’re building fences, working with wood, clearing the land of thorns and weeds, harvesting olives in the season (starts in November), building an outdoor shower & kitchen, composter, small solar system, chicken house, greenhouse, and so on...
There’s always something to do around here, whether you're an expert in your field or just eager to get involved and help, Everyone with a positive attitude, passion, and willingness to pitch in - is warmly welcome!
The help in construction and gardening is often physically demanding, especially in an area with a steep slope like ours, which can be challenging, but we need help with other stuff as well, such as creating a website for example – so not all jobs are physically strenuous.
If you have any limitations - please let us know in advance, so that we can look for a suitable job for you and to make sure that the terrain conditions of the land are not a problem.
We're open to your suggestions, whether it's about how we organize the tasks or new creative ideas or approaches – feel free to contribute! Together, we can create something amazing, and you can be part of this pioneering work while enjoying the beauty of the island.
So, what are you waiting for?? If you’re full of enthusiasm and looking for a real adventure - we can’t wait to welcome you!Languages

We communicate mainly in English, but also speak fluent German and Hebrew, and are learning Greek (or at least- trying to...)Accommodation
After a day of work - relaxation awaits!
We offer accommodation in a caravan on our land.
The caravan will be connected to water and sewage soon, and later on- to electricity as well.
Volunteers can work 5 hours a day, 5 times a week, and then Meals are provided, or if they prefer- to work only 3 hours a day, without meals. What else ...
Our land is located in the north of the island, just next to Arillas village.
Off the season period, from November to May - the "hustle and bustle" is away, along with most of the tourists, so if you are "party people" that are searching for a lot of "action" - it might not be the best time for you to come.
But if you enjoy the quiet, and are interested to experience "the real life of Corfu" - then that's a great opportunity for you!
You can easily explore attractions that in the summer time are usually too busy and might be over-crowded.
There are a lot of great places that we can recommend in the near area, and if you feel that at some point you miss a bit of a city vibe - you can always drive to Corfu town, it's just an hour away!
The public transportation here is very limited, but you can rent a car/scooter/e-bike on your days off, and we would also love to help with taking/showing you places around whenever we have time for that.A little more information

This feedback would look like a Book if I mention every lovely thing these people did to me. Gal & Birgit are very welcoming, hospitable and easy going. I contacted them very spontaneous and despite the fact they don’t even needed a workawayer at this Point, they let me camp at their ground.
