  Description

  We live in Corsica, between Ajaccio and Propriano, and we are looking for people who would be interested over long periods (ideally several months) to help us set up a new vegetable garden and make various arrangements for our small herd on our large plot of land: if you like nature, animals and DIY, don't hesitate!
  
  We had already started two vegetable gardens (only for our own consumption, because we like cooking) 2 years ago (by making our own plants), and various arrangements for the animals (pallet stable, preparation of a small pond). But we no longer have enough time to do everything by ourselves.
  For gardening and small tasks for the animals, we can pass them on to those who would be interested in living in nature for a while; but we would also be delighted if you could teach us other ways of doing things, new techniques. A real sharing of experience!
  
  Very important: we do not sell our vegetable garden products; they are for us, and therefore for you too!
  
  From autumn to spring you will be housed in the warmth of one of our 3 small gites (which we only rent in summer).
  
  In summer, you will be housed in two converted caravans, near the house, in the shade!
  (We specify that the management of the gites is not part of our search for help: we take care of it ourselves).
  
  We have different projects:
  - improvement of the living spaces of our small herd (dwarf goats, sheep, dwarf pigs, donkey).
  - setting up the vegetable garden.
  - installation of the chicken coop.
  - various small maintenance and development tasks on our land.
  We favor recycled materials (pallets, furniture, ...).
  Surrounded by our 2 dogs and 2 cats, we like to share good, simple and authentic ideas.
  Possibility of also sharing festive and sporting moments (running, basketball, ...).
  You will also meet a young sporty teenager (13 years old), who is learning English and Spanish...

  Nous habitons en Corse, entre Ajaccio et Propriano, et nous recherchons des personnes qui seraient intéressées sur de longues périodes (idéalement plusieurs mois) pour nous aider dans la mise en place d'un nouveau potager et réaliser différents aménagements pour notre petit troupeau sur notre grand terrain : si vous aimez la nature, les animaux et bricoler, n'hésitez pas !
  
  Nous avions déjà commencé deux potagers (uniquement pour notre consommation personnelle, car nous aimons cuisiner) il y a 2 ans (en faisant nos propres plants), et différents aménagements pour les animaux (étable en palettes, préparation d’un petit étang). Mais nous n'avons plus assez de temps pour tout faire seuls.
  Pour le jardinage et les petits travaux pour les animaux, nous pouvons transmettre à ceux qui seraient intéressés pour vivre un certain temps dans la nature ; mais nous serions aussi ravis que vous nous appreniez d'autres manières de faire, de nouvelles techniques. Un vrai partage d'expérience !
  
  Très important : nous ne vendons pas nos produits du potager ; ils sont pour nous, et donc pour vous également !
  
  De l'automne au printemps vous serez logés au chaud dans un de nos 3 petits gites (que nous louons seulement en été).
  L'été, vous serez logés dans deux caravanes aménagées, à proximité de la maison, à l'ombre !
  (Nous précisons que la gestion des gîtes ne fait pas partie de notre recherche d'aide : nous nous en occupons nous-même).
  
  Nous avons différents projets :
  - amélioration des espaces de vie de notre petit troupeau (chèvres naines, brebis, cochons nains, âne).
  - mise en place du potager.
  - installation du poulailler.
  - divers petits travaux d'entretien et d'aménagement de notre terrain.
  Nous privilégions les matériaux de récupération (palettes, meubles,...).
  Entourés de nos 2 chiens et 2 chats, nous aimons le partage des bonnes idées simples et authentiques.
  Possibilité de partager aussi des moments festifs et sportifs (course à pied, basket,...).
  Vous rencontrerez aussi un jeune adolescent sportif (13 ans), qui apprend l'anglais et l'espagnol...

  Accommodation

  In summer (sometimes in spring and autumn depending on the weather), accommodation in a caravan in our small oak forest. Otherwise in a fully equipped studio (kitchen, bathroom, equipped terrace, etc.).
  
  Meals will be taken together if you wish, especially in the evening (and at lunchtime if we are available). Otherwise, meals will be prepared in advance or food made available to you.
  
  
  En été (parfois au printemps et en automne selon le temps), hébergement en caravane dans notre petite forêt de chênes.
  Sinon dans un studio entièrement aménagé (cuisine, salle de bains, terrasse équipée,..).
  
  Les repas seront pris ensemble si vous le souhaitez surtout le soir (et le midi si nous sommes disponibles). Sinon, les repas seront préparés à l'avance ou les aliments mis à votre disposition.

  It is preferable to have a vehicle, or at least a driving license, to explore the surrounding area (beach, river, mountain). Otherwise, it will always be possible to lend you a bike to get to the village (2 km away).
  
  
  Il est préférable d'être véhiculé, ou au minimum d'avoir le permis de conduire, pour rayonner aux alentours (plage, rivière, montagne).
  Sinon, il sera toujours possible de vous prêter un vélo pour se rendre au village (à 2 km).
