    Description

We are Kasia and Kuba, we settled down in a beautiful place surrounded by forests and hills where we decided to live our life in peace with nature and lockal community. Our return to simple and slower life manifests itself in building traditional wooden house and establishing an organic farm based on permaculture principles.
Our mission is not only to build a house but also to go back to the custom of a mutual help in a community with respect to each other and nature. We have already put that theory into practice. Three years ago we built a wooden house of our friends and now we want to do this same in our place. Last year we managed to built a concrete basement - a foundation for the future house. And now is the time for some wooden art :) so come and join us in this amazing adventure and feel the spirit of mutual aid.

We can offer you vegetarian/vegan food and stay in exchange for your help. The working time will be 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. But if you feel like working more (or less) it is also fine and up to you.

We can host you from beginning of June. There is a special room for volunteers in our barn. We can also arrange a space for a tent.

Even thou there is plenty of work we cannot forget of some fun and relax in the free time so bring your hammock, yoga mat, musical instruments, good ideas, smile on your face and enjoy the vibe!

  • Help

    Help

This year's project will be the most interesting and exciting cuz we will do a lot of wood work. We will use manual and power tools, organize construction site and pass knowlegde to our volunteers of wooden buildings. But do not worry if you do not have any or just a little practice in this sort of work, we can teach you and lead you step by step.

There will be also some side works like a bit of gardening and cooking - there is always a need for extra hands to cook and make homemade preserves, But the first and foremost is the construction.

So far we managed to dismantle the old house, thanks to a big help from our volunteers. Moreover we built a concrete basment and foundation for a new house.

We are also planning to infuse our farm with the spirit of permaculture so any advice and all points of view are more than welcome!

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Our place is located not far from Rzeszów which is the main city of Poland’s Subcarpathia Province. It is also not that far from Przemyśl a city that is a true tourist attraction.

But, if sightseeing and city tours are not your thing, there is this amazing and wild nature just around the corner. The region is perfect for hiking in the Bieszczady mountains, kayaking on the San river, cycling in Pogórze Przemyskie.... and much more. There is also an opportunity to join a protest camp for natural forest protection in Pogórze Przemyskie (Turnicki National Park).

There are many buses coming from Rzeszów to nearby village from where we can pick you up.
