  • Description

    Hello everyone,

My name is Frankie I am 33 years old and I am now living in Austria in Ebene Reichenau, in the beautiful region of Kärnten (Carinthia).

My family recently purchase a beautiful 200 year old house, which is now our holiday home and soon will become my parent's retirement nest.

The location is excellent, the views of the mountains are awe inspiring and if you like skiing, we are in the middle of multiple ski resorts (less than 10 minutes drive).
There are also nice frozen lakes on which you can ice skate, alternatively there are beautiful cross-country skiing paths, walking and hiking trails and cycling paths.
In the nearby Bad Kleinkircheim there are also beautiful thermal baths.

The house is fully furnished and has all comforts, including high speed internet and amazonTV. All rooms are heated, they have electric stoves and warm duvets. You will most definitely have your own private room and a shared bathroom.

I am vegetarian, but there's always some meat in the house. You can also help yourself to some Austrian beer (responsibly), smoking is not permitted inside.

I am currently living at the cottage, taking care of some of the renovations and maintenance work in and on the house.

I live with my girlfriend Vikki, our cat and our dog. Sometimes during the weekend my family comes for a visit, from Italy.

I work as an online English teacher and I shape wooden surfboards in my spare time.

I fluently speak; English, Italian, French, and I can communicate in Portuguese, German, Spanish and very basic Chinese.

We are looking forward to meeting you.

    Frankie and Vikki

The house is very old but fully equipped and comfortable, most jobs are focused on making it prettier one step at the time.

Mainly we are talking about painting, stripping paint off, sanding down wooden surfaces, and building wooden furniture. You don't need previous experience as a builder or carpenter as most jobs are simple, just time consuming.

We offer accommodation and food for 4 working hours a day except weekends or a total of 20 working hours a week.

You will also have a bicycle to ride around if you like.
