    We are a hiking company run by locals, who love nature and providing you with a cultural exchange.
    We organize many day tours and overnight camping trips.

    We’re right on a party street, with great bars, hostels, parties and lots of fun. You will be able to learn from our local team and work as a team. You will learn to interact under pressure. You will hang out with different kind of people, which makes the hiking even more fun.

    We are also becoming more involved with Social Projects. We sponsor a Youth Soccer Club, we run a clean up to the beach once per week. We are also finding a way to make the volcanoes we walk on greener, planting trees and making signs so people understand the importance of taking care of our planet.

    Ok, so now that you know a bit more about us, this is the kind of volunteer we’re looking for:

    An outgoing, enthusiastic person who’s down for some fun. You’ll have to talk in front of big groups and make sure they have a blast while hiking, camping, or sliding down a volcano.
    An active person: you’ll have to hike UP TO 23KM. Not all the time though, it depends on the tour. So we’re looking for nature, camping and adventure lovers who are not afraid to jump on a board and slide down a volcano or camp next to a crater.

    A little bit more information…

    The first week is a trail week! Prove to us and yourself that you can make it ;)

    We require a minimum commitment of 6 weeks. During the first 2 weeks you will be training with our other guides and learning all about our hikes. After 2 weeks you will be expected to lead tours by yourself.

    Languages: English is a must, some of Spanish is a plus, and any other language is more than welcome :)

    Now, what do our great volunteers get?

    Where to stay: shared dorm with breakfast and lunch included everyday. Additionally, the food on every overnight hike is included.

    We are currently doing a bit of renovating in our volunteer house, so once that is done more pictures of the accommodation will follow.
    Also we have a cat - in case you are allergic, maybe good to know ;)

    The beach Las Peñitas is a 40 minute drive away and we offer a daily Beach Shuttle - so you can have a sunrise at a Volcano and the sunset at the beach! So nice right?!

    How to get to us:
    From Managua go to the UCA Managua bus station and take a bus to León. Should cost you around 71 Córdobas.
    Leave at the central bus station in León and take a taxi to ‘Via Via’
    Via Via is a bar, restaurant and hostel in one and that’s where our office is located too. Don’t pay more than 40 Córdobas per person ;)
