Description
Hello! My name is Vanira, a 29 year-old traveler from Uruguay. I hold a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad de la República and am also a certified Yoga Instructor.
Currently, I am exploring the world driven by a profound love for travel. This journey allows me to immerse myself in diverse cultures, gain new perspectives, and foster personal and professional growth. Each experience deepens my ability to connect with others, as I share stories and learn from their journeys while reflecting on my own.
Traveling through volunteer programs provides me with the unique opportunity to live with locals, experiencing life from their perspective, and also allows me to connect deeply with people from different cultures through the bonds we build day by day. These meaningful connections not only enrich my journey but also inspire a shared commitment to understanding and embracing our diverse world.
I have a strong appreciation for art and nature, and I am particularly drawn to healing therapies and techniques that foster a deeper connection with ourselves.
As a physician specializing in general medicine, I have extensive experience working in emergency departments and on ambulances. While my work can be challenging, it is a calling that I am passionate about, allowing me to make a meaningful impact in people's lives.
In addition to my medical background, I have volunteered in various capacities. My roles include a receptionist at a hostel, a nanny for a child with disabilities, a polinizator in a greenhouse, a barista and chef assistant at meditation centers, and a waitress at a restaurant. Each of these experiences has enriched my understanding of community and service.
I pride myself on being organized, efficient, and proactive, with a strong willingness to collaborate and learn from others. I am excited to continue my travels, create lasting connections, and share wonderful experiences along the way. ❤️🙏🏼
