Description
Greetings,
We are looking for an entusiastic intern who can help organizing, housecleaning, computer, fencing, animal care and some elder care.
Hoping for a mature, responsible person who is strong, positive and has good communication skills. If you are interested in regenerative agriculture, holistic health, ecological living, our homestead may be a good fit.
We live in a vibrant, progressive community of sustainable farming and five colleges in Western Massachusetts.
For our family we raise fruit, herbs, vegetables and livestock and practice Permaculture and Biodynamic farming methods. We are not a commercial farm but we do offer occasional goat walks and classes.
Meditation, qigong, yoga, healthy food prep and many creative activities are all part of our daily rounds. Comfortable lodging in farmhouse, cabin or at our campsite depending on length of visit and season.
Please note: One of us has an allergy to scented laundry detergent, perfumes, etc. and we ask that clothes be washed in unscented laundry detergent.

We teach meditation, qigong, organic and biodynamic gardening and love to share our beautiful homestead with people on the path of ecological, conscious living. Our farm is inspired by Permaculture farming methods and we cook from scratch both omnivore and vegetarian.
We know many artists and musicians and host events here and go to concerts and shows around the Pioneer Valley in Massachusetts and beyond and are happy to share our connections. -

Help is needed with gardening, planting, pruning fruit trees, writing, housecleaning and organizing,
In the Spring we start gardening, ie planting, weeding, growing fruit and vegetables, herbs and flowers.
We gladly accommodate all diets and provide a variety of grains, legumes, vegetables and herbal teas from the land. -

There is a room,, a tent platform, a smooth flat field depending on the length of stay and the season.

One rule we have had to incorporate is No Smoking on the farm.
We are 15 minutes from Amherst Center, Leverett Peace Pagoda, Leverett Food Co-op and Arts and Crafts.
1/2 hr from Northampton with lots of cultural events, dance, music and art shows. We love to host enthusiastic and positive interns from all over the world. -

depends.. no cats as we have a cat who rules the home and garden. Dogs are challenging as we have one that likes only certain dogs.
