  Hi,
  
  I'm a single dad with two boys at home,
  We live near Montignac-Lascaux, Dordogne, France,
  
  I work as a freelance gardener / maintenance of green spaces, parks and gardens, and various DIY.
  
  I also sometimes do carpentry, bike and car mechanics, etc. I like to learn all the time, I tinker a lot, I try to repair, maintain, make things as much as possible...
  
  I really enjoy music, dance and yoga (which I practice very randomly, when I manage to motivate myself).
  
  
  
  The boys are 9 and 11. They're very curious, playful and creative. They love to play, learn, progress, invent, draw, paint... They adore Lego, Kapla and other construction games...
  
  We like to go for walks in the forest and countryside, ride our bikes, swim in rivers, sometimes rollerblade or ice-skate...
  But we also like to bake bread or make pizzas...
  
  We like hiking in the mountains, watching good films or cartoons that are funny and poetic, like Miyazaki or other Japanese creators...
  
  The boys love old children's classics like Tintin, Lucky Luke, Asterix, Blake & Mortimer...
  
  More and more, they help me with the more “serious” tasks, such as repairing bikes and vehicles, chopping wood, making furniture, tidying up, etc.
  
  We love music, peace and quiet, beautiful landscapes, wooden houses, plants, animals, mountains, nature in general, the mysteries of antiquity, the universe and life in all its dimensions - archaeology, astronomy, alchemy, geometry, etc....
  
  The boys go to school, but it's not their greatest passion... They have more fun and learn more by exploring, working with me or friends, and having fun at home or on walks, at their own pace and going towards what really interests them.
  
  I speak English fluently, and the boys are learning little by little (in an ideal future I'd also like to learn Russian, German, Japanese...).
  
  (Ps - We're thinking of adopting a young dog.)
  
  
  If you're a woman & if you like helping with children and around the house, if you have free time, talents, and a taste for a simple and peaceful family life... and you'd like to come and live with us from time to time, to help us with household chores, (cooking, cleaning, tidying up, laundry, etc.), take over with the children when I'm at work or busy... - and spend lots of good times with us, then you'd be most welcome!
  
  We'll be able to accommodate you up in a large room - at the moment it's half used by the boys as a playroom, but they'll be able to free it up entirely depending on how much time you spend with us.
  
  (For this year I had the boys full-time. Next year I may have them full-time or part-time, I don’t know yet.)
  
  We currently live in a stone house big enough for 4, in a small village in the Périgord, with a small garden around it, wood heating, the forest right next door, beautiful walks, an old church/abbey a stone's throw away. Shops are a 10-minute drive away. In the village there's a small restaurant, a blacksmith, a café, a tearoom, a village hall, a tennis court, plenty of room to play and run around...

  Je suis un papa seul avec deux garçons à la maison,
  Nous vivons près de Montignac-Lascaux, en Dordogne, France,
  
  Je travaille comme jardinier indépendant / entretien des espaces verts, parcs et jardins, et bricolages divers.
  
  Il m’arrive aussi de faire de la menuiserie, de la mécanique vélo et automobile, etc. J’aime apprendre continuellement, je bricole beaucoup, j’essaie de réparer, entretenir, fabriquer autant que possible…
  
  J’apprécie beaucoup la musique, la danse, le yoga (que je pratique très aléatoirement quand j’arrive à me motiver)
  
  
  
  Les garçons ont 9 et 11 ans. Ils sont très curieux, joueurs et créatifs. Ils aiment jouer, apprendre, progresser, inventer, dessiner, peindre… Ils adorent les Lego, Kapla et autres jeux de construction…
  
  Nous aimons nous promener dans la forêt, dans la campagne, faire du vélo, nous baigner dans les rivières, faire parfois du roller ou du patin à glace…
  Mais aussi faire du pain ou des pizzas…
  
  Nous aimons les randonnées en montagne, les bons films ou dessins animés drôles, poétiques, du style Miyazaki ou autres créateurs japonais…
  
  Les garçons adorent les vieux classiques pour enfant du style Tintin, Lucky Luke, Astérix, Blake & Mortimer…
  
  De plus en plus ils m’aident aux tâches plus “sérieuses” comme réparer les vélos, les véhicules, couper le bois, fabriquer des meubles, ranger, etc.
  
  Nous aimons la musique, le calme, les beaux paysages, les maisons en bois, les plantes, les animaux, la montagne, la nature en général, les mystères de l’antiquité, de l’univers et de la vie dans toutes ses dimensions — l’archéologie, l’astronomie, l’alchimie, la géométrie, etc…
  
  Les garçons vont à l’école, mais ça n'est pas leur plus grande passion… Ils ont plus de plaisir et apprennent davantage de choses en explorant, en travaillant avec moi ou des amis, et en s’amusant à la maison ou en promenades, à leur rythme et en allant vers ce qui les intéresse vraiment.
  
  Je parle anglais couramment, et les garçons apprennent petit à petit. (Dans un futur idéal j’aimerais aussi apprendre avec eux le russe, l’allemand, le japonais…)
  
  (Ps - Nous envisageons d’adopter un jeune chien.)
  
  
  Si vous êtes une femme & si vous aimez prendre soin des enfants et d'une maison, si vous avez du temps libre, des talents, et le goût d’une vie de famille simple et paisible… et que vous aimeriez venir vivre avec nous de temps en temps, pour nous aider avec les tâches de la maison, (cuisine, ménage, rangement, lessive, etc), prendre le relais avec les enfants quand je suis au travail ou occupé… — et passer plein de bons moments avec nous, alors vous serez la bienvenue !
  
  Nous pourrons vous héberger dans une grande chambre - pour le moment elle sert à moitié de salle de jeux aux garçons, ils pourront la libérer en totalité selon le temps que vous passerez avec nous.
  
  (Pour cette année j’avais les garçons à temps plein. Pour l’an prochain je les aurai peut-être à temps plein ou à mi-temps…)
  
  Nous vivons actuellement dans une maison en pierre suffisamment grande pour 4, dans un petit village du Périgord, avec un petit jardin autour, chauffage au bois, la forêt juste à côté, de belles promenades, une ancienne église/abbaye à deux pas. Les commerces sont à 10mn en voiture. Dans le village il y a un petit restaurant, un forgeron, un café associatif, un salon de thé, une salle des fêtes, un court de tennis, beaucoup de place pour jouer et courir…
