    My Name is Arif - I believe education is for all so I work at the grassroots level, our work is concentrated on/around Dhanpuri, district shahdom of Madhya Pradesh in India.

    This is a tribal area and two main tribes residing here are - Kol and Bheel. in the area we have Narmada River which originates from Amarkantak - which has many many temples.

    We have 10 locally paid staff members including teachers and admin staffs.

    We are reaching out to passionate Workawayers who share our vision of empowering children through education. We believe that knowledge is a powerful tool for change, and we're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us teach English as well as other languages like French, Spanish, and more. Additionally, we're seeking volunteers to teach subjects such as mathematics, science, arts, and more, to provide our students with a well-rounded education.

    We understand the importance of a comfortable and nurturing environment for our valued volunteers. We offer private or shared accommodations to our dedicated Workawayers. Each accommodation comes with either a private or shared toilet, ensuring your privacy and convenience

    In addition to providing a comfortable place to stay, we have a local kitchen which takes care of two time freshly cooked meals and breakfast is generally fruits and juice etc. These meals are carefully prepared to cater to various dietary preferences and to keep you energized for your volunteering activities.

    Beyond the classroom, your volunteer journey with us offers a multitude of enriching experiences. During your time off, you can explore the local tribal culture, immerse yourself in the community, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the area.

    During your breaks and weekends, you can engage in various activities to make the most of your time in our community. Whether it's interacting with locals, visiting local communities and markets, or participating in cultural events, you'll have plenty of opportunities to connect with the vibrant surroundings.

    Our location is rich in cultural heritage and natural beauty. You can visit historical sites (such as Amarkantak), temples (more than 100 temples), and landmarks that provide insight into the area's history and traditions. Exploring the local attractions is a fantastic way to understand the context of your volunteering efforts.

    Transportation options are readily available, making it convenient to move around the area. Public transport (Bike/Bus/Train/Flights) and local services provide easy access to nearby destinations. Our team will be more than happy to assist you in getting acquainted with the local transportation options.
