Description
Hi, I'm Carmen, 30 years old.
After many years living in Germany as a student, dancer and dance teacher, I'm back in Serino, a small village in Irpinia, southern Italy. I'm living at my mum's house while working on a dream: creating a small artistic and cultural center surrounded by nature. A place for events, workshops, labs, and cultural exchanges.
I need help with:
Cleaning up and organizing the outdoor spaces. In exchange, I'd love to meet interesting people who can share their skills, art, and energy.
If you'd like to be part of this dream in a beautiful, quiet village, get in touch!

UN sustainability goals this host is trying to achieve

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We are a very warm family and we love to connect with others, we are an international family, as my sister’s partner is Ivorian and me and my mum have lived abroad for many years. My partner and I love to go to the sea, to concerts, and different events around Avellino, Salerno and Napoli, and we would love to bring you somewhere nice to have fun together and discover hidden corners of Irpinia and other places in Campania region:)

Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.

Help
I would like to be helped around three/four hours per day to clean up the outside areas and decorate them

Accommodation
I offer a home with two big beds and a big kitchen, in a big one room apartment.
As part of the exchange, I provide three meals a day. We will eat together whenever our schedules allow—this is a great chance to share stories and learn about each other’s cultures. I’ll handle the cooking on most days, introducing you to local dishes, but I also welcome your help in the kitchen if you’d like to teach me a recipe from your home country! Please just let me know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions so I can accommodate you.
What else ...
Despite its peaceful, off-the-beaten-path location, you'll have plenty to explore on your days off. Irpinia itself is known as the 'green heart of Campania'—a land of rolling hills, chestnut forests, and mountaintop villages perfect for hiking . Yet within an hour's drive, you can reach the sparkling sea in Salerno , dive into the chaotic energy of Naples with its pizza and ancient streets , or marvel at the vast Royal Palace of Caserta.
