    Description

We are building a base house in Mexico City that will become a hub for hospitality, cultural tourism, and creative-tech projects. The project is moving step by step, and each phase offers different ways for Workawayers to contribute:

    September – mid October:
The house is in full renovation. This is a very physical stage where labour, strength, and hands-on help are essential. Tasks include carrying materials, assisting with light construction, DIY, interior setup, and general support. Life here is simple, almost like camping, while we transform the space.

    Late October:
We shift toward hospitality and tourism projects, with a special focus on Día de Muertos. We will be promoting cultural experiences, community projects, and launching a tourism agency to offer lodging, transport, and curated experiences for visitors. Workawayers interested in culture, events, hospitality, or community work will find exciting opportunities to collaborate.

    November – December:
The focus expands into a creative consultancy for technological and digital transformation. This phase is ideal for Workawayers with skills in tech, media, communications, or innovation who want to contribute to a forward-looking project.

    About me:
I am Memo, passionate about connecting hospitality, culture, and technology to build meaningful projects. The vision is to create a living and working house where travelers, artists, and professionals collaborate, share knowledge, and bring new ideas to life.

We welcome volunteers who are motivated, flexible, and eager to contribute — whether with physical energy during renovation, hospitality and cultural exchange in October, or creative-tech projects later in the year.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

    Type of accommodation

The project is based in a large apartment located between Roma (hip, trendy area) and Doctores (popular, cultural emergent neighborhood with lucha libre) in Mexico City.

At this stage the space is under full renovation, so accommodation is very simple and temporary:

    - Sleeping options: one air mattress and one roll-up mat
-Shared bathroom and kitchen (still under construction).
    - Wi-Fi full available.
    - Common areas are being gradually improved

From late October onwards, conditions will improve with more stable rooms, better beds, and the setup of co-living and coworking areas designed for hospitality and creative collaboration.

Important: This is appartment is not yet finished, is under transformation, so Workawayers should be comfortable with basic conditions while helping to build the future space.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

    - On your days off, you can explore museums, street art, live music, and some of the best food in Latin America
    - If you're into film, art, education, coding, or storytelling — we’ll probably have lots to talk about
    - I prefer hosting people who are genuinely motivated, independent, and respectful of shared spaces
    - Would be happy to see your previous portfolio or workaway experiences.

    1) Tell me that you already read the full announce so to be sure that the days you are requesting are fully compatible with the requirements of the stages of the project.
    2) Why do you want to come to Mexico?
    2) How can you contribute to the projects with your specific talents?

    Cheers!
