Description
My parents and I are looking after the farm on Worimi land of Gooreengi people, we are growing food for ourselves, friends, visitors and to give to the community.
We have established garden beds and are growing food, but are still new to the land and building the infrastructure for food and community.
We are on Bundabah Creek, with mangroves and surrounded by bush. Swampy forest that we are fostering connection, care, and understanding of.
Come join in on building food, community and the land. We have a nice cabin to stay in. With food for your help. We use permaculture and organic principles
All help on food will be used by people staying or given away to people and students of Newcastle Uni.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
They will benefit from learning about the land we are on, 130 acres. I have a good understanding of bush foods on the property and trying to learn the ecology of our landscape and would share that. They will learn how to grow food and natural building and get hands on experience.
We are at the beginning of building the farm and community here and will be helping with the building blocks and imparting your own ideas and creativity into the process.Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
