Hi there! We run a small, cozy Japanese garden restaurant in Khanom. We are looking for volunteers to stay with us, experience garden living, and join our little team. Our place is located just a 5-minute scooter ride from the beach.
Getting Around Town:
Khanom is quite spread out, so you will definitely need wheels for your daily life and exploration here. To make it easy for you, I have arranged special rental rates directly from my local neighbors:
Scooter (Rented from neighbor): Special rate of 150 THB/day.
Bicycle (Rented from neighbor): Casual ride around town for 80 THB/day.
How you can help us:
Kitchen Prep: Help us prepare ingredients and fresh produce.
General Care: Wash kitchen utensils and keep our garden surroundings neat and tidy.

Looking for an experienced food photographer / content creator
We are NOT looking for beginners.
Requirements:
– strong portfolio (food / lifestyle)
– ability to shoot with natural light
– consistent visual style
– able to produce clean, usable content
– must have your own equipment (camera / phone) and laptop for editing
Tasks:
– shoot menu items
– create short-form videos (Reels / TikTok)
– deliver daily content (photos + videos)
– help create a simple content system (so we or future creators can continue your work)

As this is a less tourist destination, there is a strong local and authentic community. Conversing with the locals will give you a chance to learn some Thai as well as learn how to make Thai dishes. Khanom is also located very close to heavier tourist spots, such as the island Koh Samui. We have hosted a variety of customers from all across the world.

Khanom is a located on the Gulf coast of Thailand. There are many jungle hikes and waterfalls to explore. We are also home to the pink dolphins and local tours are avaikabke on a daily basis. If you’re forunate you can sometimes see them from our location. There are motorbikes for rent and the Don Sak ferry is 30 minutes away to take you to the islands such as Koh Tao, Koh Phangan and Koh Samui. There are also multiple markets for food and shopping.

とてもゆったりとした田舎町で地域の人と触れ合いながら、家に帰れば林に囲まれた静かな部屋で蛍を見ながら過ごしてました。近くには綺麗なビーチや滝、毎週数回マーケットも開催されます。飽きることなく２週間があっという間に過ぎていきました！
