I'm a 70 year old potter who lives by herself. My house is down a very quiet street, and I'm basically living off the grid out here! I have a fireplace in the winter to keep the house warm. I'm very friendly but non invasive, and enjoy keeping informed about the government, our environment and the rest of the world. This community is on route for the northern parts of BC, however is close enough to the lower mainland to not be out of reach.

Help with Computers/ Internet
I can teach you some basic pottery if you like, and I'm quite informed about current politics and world affairs in regards to climate change. And I can teach you a little about my solar array on my rooftop (it's a 15kw array!) I also like playing cards.
I have a fireplace, and really need help splitting and stacking wood. I have a hydraulic wood splitter and wheelbarrow which makes the work a lot easier. It'd also be nice if you did some cooking and shared meals but that's not required.
I have three separate rooms with double beds in them, all downstairs with a private bathroom. It'd be nice if we went halves in food costs and cooking, or you can have use of kitchen facilities however you like.
In 108 Mile Ranch there is kayaking, fishing and canoeing (I don't have the equipment). There is plenty of cross country skiing and hiking as well in the area. I like to spend my time doing pottery, on the computer and playing cards with friends.
