Description
Hola, we're So🐸 and Soli☀️, two creatives who run a coliving space in Manizales, Colombia. It's a relaxed, open-minded space where we host travelers, run creative workshops and work remotely. This studio is our evolving experiment in mindful and creative living :)
The city is very chill and there is a lot of nature tourism and activities 🏔️. We love sharing local tips, practicing languages, going to live music, and showing people around Manizales. There is plenty of cultural activities as well.
We have 1 room with a bed, desk and drawer available for Workawayers. You’ll have access to a shared kitchen, cozy common room, ping pong table and Wi‑Fi. Meals are not included but sometimes shared.
We like to be respectful of shared and private spaces.
Oh! and we have a cat 🐈

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
So🐸 is an illustrator and Soli☀️ is a creative. Most of our friends work on art, creativity, communication, coding... so we're very curious and friendly people! The house has a workshop that was built by a volunteer and we'd love to see people from the world use it and create things. If you're not so artsy but have other interests don't worry, cause we're open to any kind of project or adventure. Talking about adventures, we hope you love mountains because that we have here! our city Manizales is surrounded by hiking trails (and view points), and it happens to be one our favorite activities.
We also love to host family dinners, creative nights and playing games, mostly with friends so you'll probably meet a few. Some uf us are learning languages and use to practice with each other. Soli's parents only speak Spanish but are also super welcoming, so if you feel comfortable we can totally go have lunch with them. We're also planning on organizing a TV room with a projector and soon will me hanging a hammock. Again, if you have any ideas we'd love to read them :)Help
We’re looking for someone who can help us shape and structure the coliving experience. We’re thinking of tasks like gardening or DIY projects, but if you have any idea, skill, project or whatever in mind, we’re totally open.
Help on daily tasks like cleaning after yourself is expected.Languages

mmm this is not a priority but a plus since we love languagesAccommodation
You'd have your own room with a desk, bed, sheets, a drawer for your clothes and most importantly: a balcony! with a chill view to our super quiet street and the mountains.
The neighborhood is safe and location is very centric. You can easily go to the center, visit the stadium, go eat at nice restaurants or even go hiking from here.
There are some ingredients always available in our kitchen for use such as beans, cheak peas, lentils, rice, pasta, granola, olive oil, butter, vinegar, salt, lots of condiments, coffee, tea, arepas and usually there's also fruit.
We also don't mind only 3 hours per day :)A little more information
