You will find all the detailed information needed in our e-book, but we have prepared a quick FAQ here.

Food: we respect all types of food choices and will provide everything.

    Farm: Jordan valley

    House: חמרה Hamra, Israel.

How to get here: by bus or hitchhiking. From Jerusalem buses 946 or 943. Check bus.co.il to see the hours (link also available on our e-book)

Insurance: we recommend to make an insurance for travelers, as it is a farm and small accidents can happen. Costs with the hospital can be very expensive. We have all the safe equipment and gloves/hats/boots etc. It is just a precaution.

What to bring: good mood ;)

We are looking forward to meeting you.

We pick you up with the car at the volunteer’s house from Mondays to Fridays and drive to the plantation. We start the work, have a break for breakfast together and then we continue. Somedays will be more challenging, but other days will be very easy (such as packaging the dates or cleaning the sprinklers). After the work you have free time. Along with the dates we are also growing grapes and olives, so prepare yourself to know everything about olive oil very soon.

Main tasks are everything that involves growing trees and plants in organic way. We also have some design and social media projects, so if you have experience with that, let us know and we can develop something nice.
