Description
Hey :) This is Marc, Maria and Nara. A family of three living in a beautiful town called Banyoles.
We are looking for an Au Pair who is willing to share our daily life together. We will make sure to make him/her feel part of our family.
- A little bit about us:
Marc is a social integrator. He is sportive, he does triathlon since he was young and now, he combines it with padel. He is considerate, curious and funny.
Nara is a 3 years old girl. She is enthusiastic, talkative, friendly and sensitive. She loves to climb, to swim and playing with dolls. You will never get bored with her and her imagination :)
And I'm Maria, I'm psychiatric nurse. I'm passionate, active and kind. I love nature and living new adventures. I enjoy playing outside and I'm pleased by having deep conversations.
We love to travel and to discover new places, people and ways of living. Before having Nara we have been traveling a lot, our last big adventure before becoming parents was a 2 year trip around the world. We keep travel with her, she really enjoy discovering new cultures and specially new food. We also have a van and every free weekend we have we travel with it.
Of course, if you become part of our family and you like the plan we will be more than happy to travel with you too!

- A little bit about where we live:
We live in Banyoles, a beautiful town by a lake. Banyoles is an active city surrounded by nature.
There are many great things to do and discover in Banyoles and its surroundings. Medieval towns, volcanos, rivers, cities, beaches and mountains.
We do love to be outside and discover and re-descover our birth place. If you come, we will feel glad to show you around, actually enjoying our surroundings is part of our daily life. We love to swim, to ski, to ride bikes and to skate. And not so often ( but you can if you come) we ride horses with friends.
Here we add you some examples of things to do a little bit farther away:
- Besalú (medieval town) 15 minutes’ drive from home
- Girona (historic city) 25 minutes’ drive form home
- Costa Brava (great beaches and National Parks) 40 minutes to 1hour drive from home (depending to the beach/town)
- Figueres (Dalí town) 30 minutes’ drive from home
- The Pyrenees. Banyoles is at the foot of the Pyrenees mountains where you can have great hikes. You can find sky stations 1h 20 min away to 2h away.
- Olot (“the city of volcanoes”) 30 minutes’ drive from home
- Barcelona, 1h and 30 minutes away from home.

We are an active family living in an active city. Here you will be able to practice a lot of sports (canoeing, rowing, swimming, running, cycling, horseball, kayak polo and much more).
We have good schedule jobs who allow us to spend time together as a family and also in our community, we will be happy to share with you our daily life, you won't get bored.
We were born in Banyoles, and we have many friends here, we do loads of things together, hiking, BBQs, many excursions, some small trips and going to ski in winter time among other things.
Having a workawayer, we hope we can learn from their culture and costumes, alongside living our own, sharing and having fun together. We think that meeting new good and interesting people from the globe is always a great idea :)

We are looking for someone who takes care of our daughter.
Someone sensitive, kind, thoughtful who love being with kids.
Nara is an easy-going girl; she loves people, and she knows how to express her love when she feels loved. We are looking for someone who can also be a model to her. Someone who can accompany and sustain her. Validating her emotions and the emotions of others, helping each other to pass through them.
We are looking for someone who can play with her and who is willing to be a part of our family.
We are also looking for some English speaker, not necessary to be a mother tongue speaker but fluent enough to have regular conversations. Furthermore, we will like Nara to learn this language, and we can't imagine a better way to do so than doing it with someone who takes care of her.

Accommodation
Our home is a single-family House with a spacious garden with all the comforts to feel comfortable during all the year around.
Our home was built in 2023. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a laundry room, a large combined kitchen and dining room and a garage.
You will have your own room equipped with a single bed, a desk and a big built-in wardrobe.
You will have your own bike and we can share our cars when it's necessary.
