Description
My husband and I live on 50 acres of beautiful forested land with an abundance of wildlife, and stunning views of the Huon River. In preparation for the seasons, we have forested floor fuel to pile and burn, wood to collect, split and stack, tea-tree to clear, and general maintenance on the property for a focus of 10 days (taking time off work to dedicate and focus on the property).
My husband will work with you and will help make decisions based on the weather conditions on the day to keep our risk low and you and our bush safe.
Accommodation on the property is self-contained (no WiFi) with a log fire if the nights are a little cold. -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We would welcome sharing a meal and conversation. We love our wildlife, trees and quiet life. If you want to emerse yourself in the bush, sit and watch the possums, wallaby's, bettongs, and maybe even a platypus of an evening after 4 hours help, we can offer you an experience in the Huon Valley.
