Description
I live in Bendigo, a wonderful regional capital, traditionally a gold mining town with a fabulous mix of architecture. I have recently moved into town and the house needs some work, which I need help with. The kind of help I need is, with planting the garden, finishing a recently built fence, paint the house and take things to tip.
I am proud to show off many of the wonderful aspects of living in Bendigo, and its history together with the other small towns in the Golden Triangle.

Travelers will benefit from experiencing a modern regional hub, that retains a lot of its colonial charms. Living in a regional town (140K people) means that everything is close and accessible, yet the beauty of the country is very close. Travelers would learn skills in small maintenance projects, and gain pleasure from completing creative jobs.

Hello, I need some help with some small projects, painting and sorting out the house and a little gardening.

Accommodation
Workaways will be staying in their own room, and have their own laptop with internet and Netflix access. There are two cats and a guinea fowl in residence with a recent addition of a breed of very little chickens. You will have access to the internet and Skype should you need/want it. I am happy to provide food.

With your time off, there is a heap to see and do in Central Victoria. You can enjoy cups of tea, with the birds and cats and relax with a book. Bendigo is a large central victorian town, that has beautiful architecture, great galleries and cafes. Castlemaine is also a beautiful small town about 7 kms away. One of the largest, historical goldmining towns in Central Victoria, Maldon is about 23 kilometers away. Although it is winter time it is a beautiful time of year, which is very scenic and atmospheric.
I live by myself, and am fairly quiet I am in the process of getting my artwork going again and need to clear the way for that and really sort things out. I expect people to respect my home and animals, but to be comfortable and please themselves and enjoy the experience of living on such a beautiful property.
