Description
Hi! I’m Ninia 👋
I live in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, and I have a family house by the Black Sea in a small, calm, and beautiful city called Poti.
The house has been mostly unused for some time, and now I want to bring it back to life 🌱
My long-term idea is to turn it into a hostel, but right now I’m in the early stage and would love to hear ideas, advice, and experiences from travelers who have seen different places, hostels, and community spaces around the world.
I’m looking for open-minded, motivated people who enjoy sharing ideas, brainstorming, and helping shape a place. The help would be light around 3-4 hours a day, and focused not only on small practical things, but also on discussing concepts, layout, atmosphere, and what makes a place feel alive.
In exchange, I offer a free seaside stay, a relaxed pace of life, swimming, long conversations, and time to enjoy the coast together. This is a calm, creative environment, no pressure, no strict schedules.
If you’ve stayed in hostels, helped with similar projects, traveled by bike, or enjoy imagining how a place could evolve, your input would be truly appreciated.
Cyclists and bikers are very welcome 🚴♂️🏍️
I’m really excited to meet curious, kind people and exchange ideas.
Peace & Love 🤍

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Travelers will experience authentic seaside life in Georgia, away from tourist crowds, and learn about local culture, food, and daily life. They’ll also be part of a creative, collaborative project sharing ideas, exchanging cultures, and helping bring a family home back to life by the sea.

Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.

Help
I need help renovating my beach house, a place where I spent most of my childhood, and which now feels a bit forgotten. I’d love to bring it back to life 🌱
I’m especially looking for people who want to share ideas and creative input. Your suggestions on what the house could become or how it could be improved can actually be brought to life together. This is a collaborative project, and your ideas won’t just stay as ideas; we’ll make them real.

Accommodation
The house is big, so you will get your own room or share, depends how many workawayers we have at the same time.

What else ...
Poti is a calm Black Sea town with easy access to nature and local life. In your free time, you can visit the Poti Cathedral, walk along the seaside, or explore the Poti lighthouse and central park. Nearby Kolkheti National Park feels like a jungle; You can enter it by boat and explore the wetlands, birds, and dense greenery.
Getting around is simple: the town is walkable, and local buses run frequently. Poti is also well connected by train and minibus to Batumi, Kutaisi, and Tbilisi, or any other nearby small cities.

I had good time with Nina's father, during the work or shared meals, he taught me some skills with concrete and his history.
Thanks Zaza and Nina, you was really reactive while we didn't meet eachother
Good luck for your house,
Bye
It was a pleasure having you both at my place. Even though I left right before you came and I wasn’t there the whole time, you handled everything perfectly and made the work so easy. My father also really enjoyed the days spent working, cooking, and chatting with you.
