Experience the Tuscan countryside living in a 13th century medieval mansion in Capannole, Italy

  Description

  This is a structure located in Valdambra, in Capannole, in the municipality of Bucine (AR). Parallel to the restoration (we have a small carpentry-laboratory), we have carried out tourist reception activities, but we have always preferred to use the spaces for cultural, social and educational activities. It has a large garden with a swimming pool and a small amphitheater for events and we are setting up a small recording studio and spaces for playful and educational activities for children.
  Although the restoration is not completely completed, we have about 7 residential units, 3 of which are already in use and others to be restored. We are looking for people who share the spirit of the project and who contribute their skills to the maintenance and growth of the structure.
  At the moment we are also homeschooling the kids and would love to host teachers -educators that can enrich the learning experience.
  The mansion is currently inhabited by the Röslmair family :Vittorina, green-thumbed writer and sculptor, born in 1940; Stefan, son of Rudi and Vitto, musician and handyman, born in 77 -who is writing this post-; Roi, born in '82, choreographer and director currently absorbed by her studies of Chinese medicine and permaculture and finally Aviv and Yuval aged 8 the first and 2 the second.

  Travelers can learn about local history (We have a very well stocked library and lots of experience in renovation, local architecture, history, Italian and German literature).
  we usually offer to join us where ever we go so you could visit as many places as possible. If possible we travel together to new places.
  we host art residencies in our place . the artists stay together in the helpers apartment so they could enjoy each other company.

  Help

  Basic knowledge of German and/or Italian and/or English or all three together is preferred.
  Good skills and predisposition for manual work, both in the garden and in construction is a plus, as well as
  skills in web design and social media.
  We would love to host teachers that could spend time with the kids in the homeschooling hours. or teach them new skills!
