Description
Hi, my name is Barbara Silk, an active retired female living in Abdet/Confrides, Alicante Region of the North Costa Blanca. We relocated from England to Spain five years ago and enjoying the move.
We have land of 4,600m2 full of olive trees over 5 terraces on the side of the mountain here in the Gaudalest Valley. The land is 20 minutes drive from our house.
We have ongoing projects such as landscaping, irrigation and generally making the land more accessible and easier to maintain. Dry stone walls are always in need of repair or building. We have many olive trees and quite a few Grape Vines. The aim is to ensure we have a good harvest from all the trees. We also plan to plant citrus trees and a vegetable garden.
I am a Christians and therefore follow Christian principles. I attend Church on Sundays and sometimes during the week either in person or via Zoom. I also teach English Online.
